The Father Georges Florovsky Orthodox Christian Theological Society
The Fr. Georges Florovsky Orthodox Theological Society is a Princeton graduate student organization dedicated to intellectual engagement with the Eastern Orthodox Christian tradition from antiquity to today.
The society's namesake, one of the most prominent intellectuals of the Orthodox Church in the 20th century, spent a number of years at Princeton and many of his archives are held in Firestone Library.
The society seeks to carry on the legacy of Fr. Florovsky through conferences, seminars, and talks on and around campus.
LAMB: Late-Antique, Medieval & Byzantine Workshop
LAMB is an informal workshop for graduate students in Late Antique, Medieval and Byzantine history. Graduate students have the opportunity to present their work, receive and offer feedback, and practice the tricky art of commenting on a paper outside of one's specialty.
For upcoming meetings, visit the Department of History’s website.
